Thanks to a local community resident, in 1995, who wanted to raise funds to build a soccer field for children, the
City of Ferndale continues to present the annual Ferndale Woodward Dream Cruise Weekend.
Since its inception, the event has evolved into three days of automotive and family fun with plenty of festive
atmospheric activities for all to enjoy: Official Woodward Dream Cruise Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, the Ferndale
Emergency Vehicle Show, the Lights & Sirens Cruise, the Cruis'n Legends of Ford & Ferndale Classic Vehicle
Show and the Mustang Alley. The Kids Play Zone, the Cruiz'n Food Courts along with our popular Rock'n Live
Entertainment stages and the Fast Friday VIP Party!
Of course, our Presenting Automotive Sponsor, Ford Motor Company, will be at the heart of all the action when
car and truck enthusiasts flock to downtown Ferndale to enjoy the festivities with their family and friends. Ford
Motor Company will have the largest representation of any automaker along the Woodward Avenue.
The Woodward Dream Cruise stretches along a nine metro Detroit suburban area, within a sixteen mile radius,
of the historical Woodward Avenue, attracting over one million visitors and 30,000+ muscle cars, street rods,
custom and collector vehicles with Downtown Ferndale attracting 80,000+ attendees and car enthusiast alone.
Now in our 15th year, we are gearing up for another weekend of cruiz'n memories, exciting activities and live
classic rock-n-roll for all to enjoy. We hope you make Downtown Ferndale, at Woodward and Nine, part of your
